Outdoor fun after a LOOOONG winter!

We took Luke out to Tipton Park since the weather was SO awesome!  It was really great getting outside, it's been a long time since I was able to get out and really enjoy the fresh air, between the 3 months of bed rest and then having a newborn!  Luke had such a blast and even Gabby got out in her stroller to enjoy the warm sun!  My sister Melissa and I also went to the Mothers of Multiples garage sale, but we were really disappointed in it, we felt cheated out of our $2 we paid to get in! ha.  Oh well, it was just fun to get out of the house with just my sister!  I hope you all got out to enjoy the beautiful day as well!

My Valentines!

Happy Valentine's Day to my sweet Valentines!  I love you guys so much!

Our Doll Girl is One Month old!

Gabrielle is already one month old!  Time flies when you are sleep deprived I guess! ;)  But I know these sleepless nights won't last forever!  She is sleeping a little more every night!  Luke is really getting the hang of this big brother thing!  He is very sweet to his little sister!  Gabby is such a wonderful addition to our family, we thank God for her every day!

Happy 60th Birthday Mom and Happy 40th Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Happy Birthday to my mom and Happy 40th Anniversary to Mom and Dad!  We had a wonderful dinner at Alexander's to celebrate both occassions!  My mom and dad got married on my mom's 20th birthday so she had her 60th and they had their 40th on the same day!  We had a lot of fun at the dinner, it was so nice to be out of the house for going out to dinner, that was the first time I went out to eat since I went on bed rest back in October!  So that was awesome! 

Happy Birthday to my mom who is the best mom that ever existed!  She is always there for me when I need her to listen to me, or lend a hand!  She is not only my mom, but my best friend!  I love you Mom!

Happy 40th Anniversary to my wonderful parents!  You guys are a great example of what married life should be!  I don't know another married couple who has as much fun together after 40 years as you two do!  What an accomplishment...40 YEARS! 

Gabrielle Susan arrived on January 11th 2010

We are so proud to announce the birth of our beautiful daughter Gabrielle Susan Oakley! After 3 long months of bed rest she arrived at 1:30 p.m. on January 11th, and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz.  18 inches, she is so worth the long months of laying around on bed rest!  She arrived 3 weeks early due to my Pre-eclampsia, and is just perfect!  She was born on the day before Mommy's birthday so we gave her my middle name Susan!  She is the best birthday gift ever!

Elaine's Baby Shower

On the Sunday after Christmas we threw a baby shower for my sister in law Elaine.  Her and her husband Brandon were visiting from Cape Cod, MA where he is serving in the U.S. Coast Guard.  They are expecting a little boy in early March that they are naming William!  She got lots of really great gifts, and I am hoping that she had a wonderful time.  Here are some pictures of the shower!
