Happy 2nd Birthday Gabrielle Susan!

Happy Birthday Gabrielle!  We had such a fun day celebrating Gabby's birthday!  Rob took the day off to be with the special birthday girl!  We took her out to Monical's for her birthday dinner, because she loves pizza!  We then came home and opened gifts and had her special egg free cake.  It was special for Gabby because she usually doesn't get to eat birthday cake since she is allergic to eggs.  Her big gift was a Dora kitchen which we picked up for $26 on clearance at Target.  Great deal!  One perk of having a birthday after Christmas!  We love Gabrielle Susan soooo much, she is a fun loving, happy little girl.  She makes us laugh with her sassy personality and awesome dance moves.

Haunted Trail

We have made a tradition of going on the Haunted Trail for Halloween every year.  You can get into the Haunted Trail for just a canned good or $1.  We brought a bag of canned goods, and got to go on the trail, Luke got his face painted, and got candy!  Both of the kids had a great time!  Gabby had a blast dancing to the 107.7 The Bull music that was there. haha.  She is always our little dancer!  We ended the night at Coldstone Creamery since Luke had been asking to go there again for quite a while.

Our little girl sure has been enjoying her one on one time with Mommy while Luke is in preschool!  Today she was enjoying banging on the piano keys while singing (Luke usually doesn't let her play on it alone), so I put her up on the bench.  She had so much fun!

Labor Day weekend!

We had a great Labor Day weekend!  Saturday we went to Peoria for the day, Sunday right after church we went to State Farm park for picnic with Rob's family, and that night we had a bonfire at my parent's house!  We always have a lot of fun with both of our familie's and our so blessed to have most of them nearby.  Although we really missed my sister Becky on Saturday which was her birthday!  She lives in Baltimore, so we don't see her as often as we would like!  Luke had a blast playing mini golf, and playing at the park, at State Farm Park.  Matthew (rob's brother) and I had fun playing badmitton, I hadn't played that in years!  Gabby had a blast running around at the park.  At Mom and Dad's Luke had so much fun running around with all of his cousins, and having S'mores.  Gabby entertained us all with her awesome dancing skills!

Luke's first day of school!!!

Luke had his first day of preschool on the 6th!!!  He is 4, but this is the first year we sent him, he just wasn't ready to be away from home yet last year!  Luke has terrible seperation anxiety, so we were nervous about how his first day would go.  Rob, Gabby, and I went and dropped him off, and he did wonderful!  He was all smiles when we came to pick him up, he gave me the biggest hug I think he has ever given me!!  The teacher did tell us that he cried a little after we left, but that they were able to talk to him and make him feel better!  He said that they played, had library time (he said they told the class not to throw the books out the window, I guess that has happened before?haha) they also had a birthday treat for one of the kids, and played on the playground!  I think this is going to be a great school year for Luke! 

Wisconsin Dells

Last weekend we went up to Wisconsin Dells for a long weekend.  We were just in Florida, but Rob's Aunt and Uncle invited us up to stay in their condo while they were going up for a wedding we couldn't resist!  Luke was sooo excited!  We went there last year for our family vacation, and Luke loved it!  When we pulled up to the sign that said Wisconsin Dells Luke started screaming he was so excited, so Gabby started cheering too!!  We stayed at the Wilderness Resort in a condo there.  They had a lot of water parks indoor and out, of course Luke had a blast!!  We got to spend a few days with Rob's cousin Kayla too, before she had to go back to school.  Luke and Gabby love her!  Donna and Jeff were so sweet to invite us up, I'd say the kids have had a pretty awesome summer so far!
