It's been a while!

Well it has been a while since I have last posted!  Things are going great with our family. We took a little family day trip a couple of weeks ago, we went to New Salem, Springfield and then all the way back to Gibson City to see Shrek Forever After.  It was a lot of fun for all of us.  The next weekend Rob's sister Elaine came from Cape Cod, MA with her baby William!!  It was the first time most of us ever got to meet him!  It was wonderful to see them both, and he sure is a cutie!!

Luke is quite the little ham, and we have signed him up for Wee Act acting classes with the town of Normal!  They start next Tuesday, and he is very excited!  He will also be starting Sunday school at church this coming Sunday!  He is very excited about both to say the least!! 

Gabrielle is doing awesome, she will already be 5 months old on the 11th!  Time is going by so fast these days!  She is a happy little girl, that absolutely adores her Daddy and big brother!  She saves her biggest smiles for them!  She is now eating baby food and loves it!  

Rob and I are both doing well, we are wanting to do plenty of projects around the house this summer!  I hope that we will get most of them done.  Hopefully we will take a family vacation, and a few trips up to my parent's vacation home in Wisconsin to ride the boat and relax!

Luke is 3!

Yes I am very delayed on posting this!  Our doll boy turned 3 on April 13th!  I can't believe he is 3 years old, I always used to think of 3 year old's a not being babies anymore, but now that my baby is 3 years old, I realize he will always be my baby!  He really is becoming such a big boy these days though!  He says the most grown up things, he is very entertaining, and such a joy in my life!  We celebrated his birthday on April 10th with a Handy Manny themed birthday party!  It was hot and sunny the first time we were able to have his birthday party outside!  A fun time was had in the yard by all!  The adults on the deck, and the kiddos playing with the new sandbox in the yard!  On his actual birthday we took Luke and Gabby to Chuck E. Cheese where we had the entire place to ourselves!  Tuesday at lunch is a great time to beat the crowds! haha.  We then came home and gave him his present from us which was a play house!  He was so excited!  He is pretty much set with anything a kid could want to play with outside right now between his basketball hoop, sandbox and playhouse!  We love little Luke so much and thank God everyday for him!

Gabrielle Susan 2 months old!

Gabby is now 2 months old!  I can't believe it!  She went in for her 2 month appointment today, and did very well!  She weighed 12 lbs. and 4 oz. (90 percentile) I couldn't believe it considering she was born at only 6 lbs 14 oz, and she is exclusively nursed!  She is getting to be a big girl, still on the shorter side though! She is such a good baby, she is a very good eater, and is now becoming a better sleeper at night!  She is smiling and cooing!  She thinks her big brother is a pretty funny little guy, and we couldn't agree with her more! ha!  I am enjoying dressing her up in adorable little girl outfits, it is a lot of fun!  She is such a doll!

Welcome to world William Ivan Hall!

Congratulations to Elaine and Brandon on the birth of their son William on March 8th 2010!  He weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 inches long!  We are so excited that our first nephew is here, and well!  Too bad he lives in Cape Cod, Mass., but hopefully we will see him soon! Pics to follow!

Outdoor fun after a LOOOONG winter!

We took Luke out to Tipton Park since the weather was SO awesome!  It was really great getting outside, it's been a long time since I was able to get out and really enjoy the fresh air, between the 3 months of bed rest and then having a newborn!  Luke had such a blast and even Gabby got out in her stroller to enjoy the warm sun!  My sister Melissa and I also went to the Mothers of Multiples garage sale, but we were really disappointed in it, we felt cheated out of our $2 we paid to get in! ha.  Oh well, it was just fun to get out of the house with just my sister!  I hope you all got out to enjoy the beautiful day as well!
