Presidential Inauguration

Today as I sat down in my living room to watch the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States of America, I found myself tearing up with emotion and pride. As many of you know I have been a John McCain supporter for a lot of years now, even still have his bumper stickers on my car right now. I however will now support Barack Obama, because the country has voted him in as our next President. I may not agree with my fellow American's choice, but now I need to stand back, and hope that he will do good things for our country. We need good things right now in this country. I was also very proud of the way President Bush was so gracious in the way he treated the Obama's. Far better than he was treated by the Clinton Administration when he came to Washington 8 years ago. The thing that moved me the most was probably when it was said that America has now handed over power peacefully to a new administration for the 44th time. What a great honor to live in a country that does not have violence every time someone new comes into power. We don't have to live in fear. What a great country we live in. God Bless America.

Hey! Great to hear from ya. Painting really took a lot out of me and made me feel OLD. So now I have to work up the effort to do the living room. Other than that, things are pretty normal around here. Just working and trying to relax and keep the house clean! I love your pics of Luke. He is so cute! He looks like a real sweetheart too. I hope I can meet him next time I am up there!
